Mary Fisher | General Dentist
Born in the nation's capital and raised in the City of Detroit, Dr. Mary Fisher has been practicing dentistry in the West Bloomfield area since 1981. A graduate of Gesu grade school and Rochester High School, Dr. Fisher attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan before attending University of Detroit Dental School where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 1981. Dr. Fisher is committed to providing a standard of excellence in patient care and demonstrates a commitment to excellence through ongoing continuing education.
In 1982, Dr. Fisher established a mobile practice, Michigan Geriatric Dental Care, in an effort to better serve the geriatric and home-bound population in the Metropolitan Detroit tri-county area. Michigan Geriatric Dental Care serves patients that are home-bound, in skilled nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Danielle began her relationship with Dr. Fisher's office as a young patient when her family moved to Michigan from New Jersey. Danielle joined the office staff in 2004 when she was hired to work as a dental assistant in both mobile and private practices. Eventually she became part of the business office staff where she thrives. Danielle's current focus today is coordinating provider schedules, determining insurance benefits and managing accounts payable and receivable. Danielle graduated from Baker College with a B.A. in Business Leadership in 2011 and continued her education at Oakland Community College taking advanced accounting courses. Danielle enjoys bookkeeping and manages several different business entities in her spare time.
Danielle resides in Waterford and enjoys spending time with her family.
Sandy Biondo, RDH | Dental Hygienist & Clinical Care Coordinator
A native of Michigan, born in Royal Oak, Sandy graduated from Baker College in 2013 with a Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. While in hygiene school, Sandy served as a class representative and graduated cum laude, special honors. Sandy is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia and is also certified in CPR. Sandy enjoys working as a dental hygienist in our mobile practice and also as a clinical coordinator, utilizing both administrative and dental hygiene skills caring for elderly patients in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Home environments. Sandy has ten plus years of experience in the field of dental hygiene and continues her education through continuing education courses to improve her skills.
She currently resides in Auburn Hills. Sandy enjoys music, nature, and spending time with her loved ones.
Dr. Fisher is a member of the Oakland County Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association and its Forensic Dental Identification Team (FDIT), the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and COHA, Coalition for Oral Health for the Aging. Dr. Fisher enjoys staying connected to her alma mater undergraduate and graduate educational institutions. She is a trustee at the University of Detroit Mercy and supports Oakland University by serving as an ambassador in the community to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Dr. Fisher also enjoys serving on the board of directors for Motor City Lyric Opera, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and educating students and families in the Detroit area, particularly the under-served, through highly artistic musical presentations. Dentist, mother and grandmother, Dr. Fisher and her husband, Gordon Follmer, reside in Hartland, Michigan. Together they have nine children and seventeen grandchildren.
Lillian Hanziantoniou | Patient Coordinator
Born and Raised in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, Lillian is a native Spanish speaker. She began helping her community at the age of twelve by fundraising for the Red Cross, assisting with social events at her brother's school of disabled adults and, as a teenager, volunteering at the Center of Prevention and Attention to AIDS/HIV.
Helpful, kind and willing to work hard, Lillian is supportive, always candid, and never leaves her sense of humor at home when she comes to work! Family life is important to Lillian and husband, Leo, and they enjoy spending time with their new addition, baby girl Mila, and Hobbes, our Portuegese water spaniel office mascot who is well-loved by all our staff and patients!
